Our MISSION here at PLATES is to provide affordable fitness and health programs locally, a network of friends, activities, and other resources, like food catered to you from our farm to your table. We strive to inspire, enrich, and motivate our community towards a healthier and more active lifestyle in a non-intimidating environment that anyone can access no matter what your excuses have been in the past. We believe wealth does not get to dictate one's health. As a non-profit, we officially are removing that financial barrier and offering income based membership & services. NON-PROFIT Gym Facility is Coming to Oakland!

PLATES: House of Fitness & Nutrition is changing their look and as a result the face of fitness in this area is about to get a lot more AWESOME!

OPENING for Classes & Training - 
March 2, 2015

THE RUMORS ARE TRUE!
We are reopening at our NEW LOCATION as a NON-PROFIT health facility. 

- New management system.
- New Fitness & Nutrition Classes
- New Trainers. 
- Full service gym facility with all needed stationary equipment for all programming needs. 
- Certified kitchen serving healthy meals for individuals, families & larger scale catering, all balanced nutritionally by our coaches. 
- Onsite garden & livestock. 
- Childcare will also be available. 

New Location:
ADDRESS - 191 High Street - Oakland, ME 
We will share space inside the Kingdom Life Church. Our entrance is through the right back side of the building. The door is on the basement level. We will also have access to 50 acres of wooded trails & property for an organic garden & raising animals - Yes, that means "Farm to Table" is coming your way!

This town is in for one pretty unique, fresh concept fitness center. It is our goal to help bring people together to just BE ACTIVE. Learn to love fitness and eating healthy. Free your mind and your literal butt will follow, right?!! Haha.

The Fitness Facility: This is for EVERY body and EVERYBODY.
Get an amazing workout from cross training & Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, yoga, suspension training, classes, outdoor activities, youth classes, kickin' tunes, you can DROP it and CHALK it, high five FOR REAL, classes, competitions... We will also be fully staffed with inspiring individuals that can help you not just want to workout... but CRAVE it.
